Getting Started

How to capture a match

Go to Settings and enter your name exactly as it appears in match results.

Tap the + button on the Matches tab to open the in-app browser.

Navigate to your match results page. The app will detect and import your results automatically.

Tap Done when the capture completes to return to the dashboard.

Common Questions

Why can't I find myself in the results?

Make sure your name in Settings matches exactly how it appears on the results page — spelling, spacing, and capitalization all matter.

The app says "capture failed" — what do I do?

Navigate directly to the results page for your specific match (not the homepage) and wait for it to fully load before the app can detect the data.

Can I use Alpha Charlie for both USPSA and IDPA?

Yes — use the USPSA / IDPA toggle in the header to switch between sports. Each sport has its own match history and dashboard.

How do I back up my match data?

Go to Settings → Backup to export all your data to a file. You can save it to iCloud, Files, or share it anywhere. Use Restore to reload it.

Does Alpha Charlie work with classifier results?

Alpha Charlie captures any match result page — classifiers, local matches, and major matches are all supported as long as results are posted online.

Is my data private?

Yes — all data is stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
